The Team

Our production team is our mainstay, a very special and unique asset to the organization. Its supported by an equally committed sales and marketing team. The two teams work complementing each other with the blessing of a highly qualified and experienced management team.

Work Experience

Our Managing Director has over fifteen years experience in the leather industry. He has travelled in the region sourcing quality and affordable raw materials. Our final products are therefore able to compete on price and quality in any regional market. 80% of our work force has on the job training; the results have been very encouraging as we prepare to break into the global market.

Description of the Business

Our strength lies in manufacturing leather goods of note. We produce products such as belts, handbags, sandals and wallets, using strictly genuine leather. We run three production lines exclusively on Handbags, Wallets and Belts to make sure that each one of our 14 production staff is an expert on a particular product to encourage accuracy and speed. All this helps in making our product affordable. Our selection of leathers includes ordinary bovine and goat skins to game skins like Ostrich, crocodile, zebra, buffalo and springbok skins. We also deal in animal products like ostrich eggs and feathers. We have been increasing our production lines to keep with latest fashion trends. . Our products suit the ISO 14000, 9000 and other environmental standards associated with our line of trade.

The market for genuine leather products and accessories is growing and as the population continues to grow, we see great potential of expansion with government initiatives of free trade across the region. As we religiously keep working on the quality of our brand, we see the global market opening its doors to our products. Our marketing team works tirelessly and has our clients at heart. We have managed to establish clients across the region in Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. Tourists to the region have also supported our brand tremendously.

Pricing Power

Our prices are competitive because our costs are low due to the fact that we operate from our own factory, machinery and the distribution vehicles. We also buy our raw materials in bulk which also contributes to the competitiveness of our prices.

Warranties

We take full responsibility of all our products any defects are either refunded or repaired in consultation with the client.

Suppliers

We are very strict on choosing our suppliers most of which are ISO certified. We take pride in promoting the buy Zimbabwe agenda wherever we can. Our major suppliers are Imponnete tanning for plain leather, Zambezi Tanners for crocodile skins and Klein Karoo South Africa for ostrich skins. We enjoy a very healthy relationship with all of our suppliers and these relationships have enabled us to remain well stocked always at best possible prices.

MANAGEMENT

The Managing Director: Mr. Clive Chirova

He is the founding Director and is an experienced quality assurance expert. He sees to it that all our products undergo quality checks before being delivered to a client and that suits the needs of the customer. He oversees the smooth running of the business and has over 14 years’ experience in this business.
